I’m incredibly grateful to announce ATS Acoustics has been acquired by an undisclosed private equity buyer. They have been great to work with in the 15-month process of putting this deal together. The factory remains where it started, in Piper City, Illinois. No employee jobs are lost or disrupted by the sale. Except mine, and that’s by design. December 31, 2026 will be my last day as CEO of the company I founded 21 years ago.
ATS Acoustics and the people who helped me build it changed my life, and the lives of my family. In many ways, I feel like I was raised by that business. I had to grow up to face each challenge and allow the company to keep leveling up. I am grateful for mentors and coaches who taught me and inspired me. I never imagined where humble beginnings could lead. The business is doing great. I am so thankful to be turning it over to new owners on a high note.
